The first time I met you I was floored,

Now sometimes I wish you hadn't walked through that door,

We had to see if ever after, we could live happily, and...

Picnics in Old Town Park, we talked philosophy,

Dinner by candlelight, you even wrote me poetry.

Hikes in secluded canyons in the spring, 

We were mesmerized, how could it have gone so horribly? Cuz...

Then came the big fight and the unraveling had begun.

The connection we made doesn't happen every day,

but I'm not a Panic girl so I guess it wouldn't have worked anyway, cuz...

We were beautiful as we streaked across the sky.
